Our son, Luke Liegghio, lost his brave battle against Niemann-Pick Disease at 8 years of age, on June 10, 2005, but we have not given up
our fight to find a cure or treatment for this dreaded disease.
To date, the Life for Luke Foundation has raised over $739,000 to support research through the Canadian Chapter of the NNPDF and
the Hospital for Sick Children.
The 2010 Gala will include an amazing antipasto bar with seafood, grilled vegetables, cheese, etc.; three further courses; and a full open bar.
Fabulous entertainment will be provided by baritone solo artist Daniel Panetta and stand-up comedian Frank Spadone, with great music and
dancing, as well.
There will be super deals on silent auction items such as weekend getaways; hockey, basketball and baseball tickets; theatre tickets;
a complete queen size bed, and much more!
Tickets are available now, and we are also inviting sponsors to participate in this worthwhile event to raise money for a cure. The race against
time is urgent. Your generous support in the past has made a real difference, and we know that with your continued support the cure for
Niemann-Pick Disease Type C will be found!
